UltiCube: The New Brainteaser 3D Cube Puzzles, 7 Different Puzzles Review

Suppose you have 3 cubes each of 9 colors, for 27 cubes total. It is easy to snap together the cubes to form a 3 by 3 by 3 cube. But can you assemble it placing nine different colors in every face of the larger cube? That is very difficult. (Don't worry though, you can start with our much easier beginner's puzzle.)Your goal in all our puzzles is to assemble 9 different colors in every face of the 3 by 3 by 3 cube. There are 7 different puzzles with varying degrees of difficulty. You choose to assemble the cube pieces in any order... you don't twist and turn the sides of a cube. If it sounds easy, think again! For a typical puzzle (you have 7 puzzles to try) there are more than 1,000,000,000 ways to assemble the cubes and only 2 or 4 correct solutions possible. (If you don't believe this, do the math. We have.)There are seven UltiCube puzzles, ranging in difficulty from easy (for many people) to intermediate to genius. If that is not enough, you can attempt our hardest puzzles: the Guru Challenge.Challenge your favorite Genius. Great gift for older kids, teens, and adults. Read more...
